5 out of 6 Machines

We inhabited an abandoned building in Griffintown, Montreal for many months.  At first there was ice on the floor and no electricity/water but things improved when we brought in electricity from a neighbouring building. The place was packed with stuff, we started by moving things around. Short days at first, but as the weather warmed we stayed longer.  Out of the junk and debris in there we built a show.  We were mostly Peter, Thea and I, but lots of other people came by and helped.  It was fun.  I think we’ll do it again, maybe somewhere else.
